Terms of Service

1. The service

Muster reads an application, infers the infrastructure it needs, compiles that into infrastructure-as-code you own, and verifies preconditions against servers you control. The verification path is read-only: it observes your server and does not modify it.

2. Accounts

You need an email address to sign in. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure, since sign-in codes are delivered to it, and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your infrastructure remains yours

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Muster to:

5. Plans and billing

Plans are priced per watched application rather than per person. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, renew automatically until cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time from the billing portal — access continues to the end of the paid period.

Prices shown on the pricing page are the current prices. We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before increasing the price of an existing subscription. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect paying customers.

7. No warranty

Muster is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. A passing readiness check is evidence that the checks Muster ran were satisfied at that moment. It is not a guarantee that a deployment will succeed, that your data is safe, or that your systems are correct. You remain responsible for your own backups, testing and operational decisions.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Termination

You may stop using Muster and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law. On termination your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date above and notify account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — to be completed], and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
